Richard Branson is one of the most influential people in the world today. His Virgin group owns more than 350 companies and he is a Multi-Billionaire completely self made. A hippy with a vision that really seems to have his heart set on creating a better future for us all.
Richard Branson is living his reality. He is not afraid to stand in his flow and be open for it to take him wherever it wants him to go. That is where his power lies. Not in his ability to make loads of money or run successful companies. It is Richard’s ability to see fear for what it is… A Challenge to make him stronger.
Richard Branson is in the exact position he needs to be in for this transition we are moving through (if you haven’e felt it yet, you very soon will). He is living his flow and doing exactly what it is he came to this life to do. Are you?
I am. I consciously make the decision every moment to stand in my flow and be who I am here to be, even when I am scared. Richard Branson has a role to play in this world and he is playing it as a finely tuned artist would. Now, as we move deeper into the shift of ages Richard is starting to connect more with those around the world that truly want to live a better way. Richards movement onto the stage of this transition is a great sign for all of us that it is time to stand up together in true oneness of heart, mind and body ready for the transition that is about to take place, that we are destined to move through as a community of life.

A Presidential Commission on Youth and Intergenerational Partnerships

In 1960, during his presidential campaign, John F. Kennedy asked Eleanor Roosevelt for her political support. She agreed, but not without his promise to create a Presidential Commission on the Status of Women. The commission was created in December of 1961and went on to have an historical impact on the lives of women throughout the country.
In 2007, as he prepared for his own White House run, Barack Obama began to ask young people for their political support. He got it, but not in exchange for any one thing. Many young people supported Obama because they believed in his message of hope and promise for social and political transformation.
Young people, empowered with new technologies and a new political vision, revolutionized American politics. They raised more money and mobilized more people than any campaign in history. We believe that young people, when given the opportunity, can improve the social fabric of this country and transform what it means to be a citizen of the United States and of the world.
We want to create the space for this opportunity and believe that bringing the agenda of youth to the American stage, even the world stage, will make that possible. There are similar efforts, but a Presidential Commission holds special promise with its ability to recognize and raise the profile of existing work. Moreover, Presidential Commissions can be created with relatively few financial and political obstacles, making it an ideal platform to spearhead the vision presented here.
We call for the creation of …
A Presidential Commission on Youth and Intergenerational Partnerships to advance the following goals:
| 1. Social development: Investigate, promote, and augment the contributions of young people to society through existing social programs. |
|
| 2. Councils, politics and policy-making: Study and foster the participation of young people on non-profit boards, government councils, and other decision-making spaces. |
|
| 3. Intergenerational partnerships: Examine and promote the mobilization of social, intellectual, and economic wealth of older generations. Recognize the value of young people and encourage partnerships with elders. |
|
| 4. Marketplaces and networks: Create a venue for investors and innovators to come together to collaborate, share best practices, and to have meaningful dialogue about youth. |
|
| 5. Execution and implementation strategy: Engage government agencies in the activities of the commission, evaluate potential impacts, and implement relevant recommendations in the judicial, legislative, and executive branches of government at all levels: local, national, and global. |
|
Conclusion:
The unprecedented nature of Obama and his election has created a wave of hope, globally. It is important to seize this “opportunity capital” and encourage the rest of the world to consider and apply some of the lessons learned from Obama’s campaign. Of particular significance are the concepts of 1) putting an end to the practice of negative campaigning, 2) using new technologies as a platform to shift power from specialinterests to average citizens, and 3) embracing and empowering youth.
The symbolic nature of a Presidential Commission on Youth and Intergenerational Partnership holds special promise to extend the impact of Obama’s election to people, especially young people, globally and should not be missed. The global origins of Obama’s upbringing make new expressions of diplomatic power possible, opening an opportunity to convene non-traditional allies to solve intractable problems, such as addressing root cause terrorism through inter-religious youth exchange.
The goals outlined for the commission above should be upheld in the international sphere as much as they are at home. Innovation of policy at the national level should be accompanied by parallel innovations in foreign policy.

Well I must say, there has been a lot of changes in the past couple of weeks.
It seems that my last two blog posts have culminated and actually became my reality (see below for previous posts). I spoke about abolishing the J.O.B. in one of them, and what would you do if you could do anything? in the other. Both of which I am making happen as we speak!
Today is my last day as an Adventure Guide at Raging Thunder (.com.au). I white water rafted two days ago for the last time and today I will sea kayak, for the last time officially as an employee. My resignation was something I pondered on for over a month, yet knew all along it was in evitable. I just had to cut to cord that help me in the place my heart truly did not want to be in.
If I could do anything, what would I do? I would unite the people of earth to live as a global family supporting one another in the creation of a world that truly works for us all. That is exactly what I am doing right now!!
I have known for many years that I had a very big job to do here in this life. It took me much time to overcome the fear of the challenge, to gain the humility to live my situation, and the courage to stand and deliver the words and actions in alignment with my thoughts. After so many years of personally developing the skills I need to do what I am here to do, unite the people of earth to live as a global family supporting one another in the creation of a world that truly works for us all, I am ready!
Deep inside for many years I have felt the connection i am to mother earth and father god. I have lived the oneness i am with all beings, both human and otherwise. I have communicated with my higher self as if it were my neighbour. And I have lived amongst the feeling of the reality I seek. Oneness and Bliss (for all beings) [Oneness gives way to this statement, however just to clarify].
I seek true happiness, the being of who I am completely in this moment. No playing games, no being something I am not or something others want or expect me to be. Just me, just who I am, no more and no less the perfection that is this moment, this reality, this life, this god, this oneness. I am here to be. And everything stands up right now to great my arrival and my presence. This I can feel whole heartedly.
So I have abolished the J.O.B. and yet I have no income and no way to pay my bills (Even this statement drains me to say it, but just for your understanding of where I am I do so). All I can feel, and have been intuitively assured, is that all I need to do is stay focused on doing what I am here to do, should I mention it again… Unite the peole of earth to live as a global family supporting one another in the creation of a world that truly works for us all… then everything else will be taken care of. All I must do is what I am here to do, what my speciality is, and all other needs will be taken care of for me. That is, as long as I am living my true expression I will be in perfect alignment with the perfection I am and all things will be good (prefect as they naturally are).
So enough from me. Words only mean so much. Actions are the strong point of my ability to lead myself and those who stand with me. So today I act and let you see who I truly am.
