In the following pages I will endeavor to expound my understanding of our current life situation and our best collective efforts to move from here in order to ensure abundant flourishing of the human species and life as a whole.
I make no claim to know all nor do I pretend to have all the answers. As you will quickly realize in the passages to come I am but a humble man wishing to live a better way, with the courage to stand up and do something about it.
Collectively we have all the necessary components to live the better way in which I am passionate about. Alone I am unable to live the way I wish. I say this having thoroughly tired to do so. But at the end of my long efforts it is quite evident to me that the better way I envision myself living is intrinsically tied to you that are reading this and all beings on this planet, and I would dare say beyond.
To finish my introduction to this document I have entitled My Manifesto I will endeavor to sum up this better way that I see myself, and us all, living one day in the near future.
This better way is one of bliss and happiness. A way of life that is untroubled by the circumstances of everyday happenings, that is content with the ups and downs that duality brings, that is no more saddened nor joyed by events but rather is ecstatic with life in the present moment and seeks only to fill the moment with life empowering thoughts, words and actions that increase this bliss and happiness for all.
If this is a way of life that you yourself have perhaps pondered to one day be a reality then I encourage you to read on. If you have doubts on our ability as a species to fulfill this vision then I also encourage you to read on. Doubts are only present because somewhere inside you actually believe this to be possible. You may just find that part, however small, inspired enough to cast off the shadow of doubt and continue.
If however you feel that in this world we are doomed to a life of unpleasantness and control by outside forces then I would say to you, please read on. You may be right. We as a people may be destined to live out our lives on this planet completely unable to sit quietly in the knowing that everything is alright, that everything is just as it needs to be, and that happiness and bliss are our natural state of being. Or, you may just find, in one passage, in one line, in a single word, the power you need to be who you truly are.
All that I speak of up to now and in the following passages are aspects of my life that I have brought to light within my own personal experience. My focus: happiness and bliss, have engulfed my entire life for many, many years now. All that I ask of you is that you look within your own experience and see if there is any correlation at all. Perhaps not all of my experiences and yours will match up, but if at least one does then we have found our common unity. And Unity, as will be encouraged from here, is the key to our collective experience.
My name is Scotty Zee. Let us begin.

My Reason Why
Mine reason for writing this, and entitling it ‘My Manifesto’, is likely the most difficult thing to explain. For many years I have felt that my path was, in an expression, ‘Same Same but Different’ to those around me. As if parallel but perpendicular at the same time, junctioning but still running the same way.
To explain in 30 seconds: I knew inside that I was doing the right thing by me. I ruffled some feathers and soothed others, but my thoughts were always caring and set on nurturing my growth and ours as a collective. I could tell that most people could understand parts of me and others cared not to trouble themselves as my way challenged them to leave the comfort of the box they had put themselves in. To be honest, I was appreciated by most, but usually from afar.
Over the years I had grown to find comfort in both being alone, of which I was often, and in the company of others, especially groups of others. I definitely found a balance of this in my life. On January 26th, 2001, at the age of 19, I consciously chose to step onto the path of self-realization. Till the age of 23 I was the life of the party. My presence was felt as I entered a room and my passion was being on stage and in front of the crowd.
At 23 I was intuitively called on “Walk About” and became focused on solitude, meditation and inner discovery through increasing my practice and study of spirituality, be it philosophy, religion, and ancient wisdom, and learning the way of nature. From around 26 I have slowly been internally guided to step back out in front of the crowd, something I have always had a natural inclination to do, and show others what I had found through my years of internal discovery.
Now, after 8 years of focused intention on the path of self-realization, and a lifetime of being “Same, Same but Different”, I am offering my understanding of life and our collective journey to you. For in true reality ‘I’ and ‘you’ are one and the same.
I have entitled this document ‘My Manifesto’ from the encouragement of the great leaders that have gone before me. All great leaders have made a declaration of the path that they wish to walk, encouraging others to walk with them, as through Unity there is power. ‘My Manifesto’ is just that. A declaration of the path I am endeavoring to walk, within the same breath, an invitation to walk this path with me. And with that being said, let us determine the course we shall take.
———————————————————-
The Calling
Inside each of us there is a calling. A voice some call it, I say it is a knowing, that guides us along this journey that is Time. We all have this calling, this knowing, however faint or small it may be, or in my case a scream within my being louder than that of a busy Los Angeles street. I cannot avoid my calling. I cannot brush it aside. There was a time that I was able to, but now, after so much effort and dedication in following my inner knowing I can do nothing else but be guided by it.
There is however a balance to be sought. As with all aspects of the world of duality (more to come on this) balance is essential for life. It is true, we all have this inner knowing, this calling, this guidance that knows what is best for us, but this must be matched as equally by the intelligence we have within our mind and the mind of creation. If this knowing comes from the heart, then this intelligence comes from the mind. To live our path we must walk the middle way of intuition (knowing) and intelligence.
I am a deeply intuitive fellow. Again, after years of constant development I am able to do nothing else but listen intently to my inner knowing. At the same time, I am very much an intellectual fellow as well. Study, dissection, analysis, experimentation of hypothesis; the ‘scientific method’ are all aspects of my life I take just as seriously as ‘following my heart’. Again, a balance is essential.
———————————————————
A Culture of Followers
Our global culture has developed as a culture of followers. Our leadership encourages us, be it governmental, educational, economic, even fashion, to follow the status quo in order to be successful. A brash misinterpretation of success has been used to develop this culture of followers. Success once was just to survive in order to continue life through procreation. In this age, which is long past by any man’s understanding, it was beneficial to stay as a pack, to follow the strongest, smartest, most capable leaders, and survive.
Today, to follow, is to fall behind. Those that are successful are the ones that are breaking away from the pack and walking their won way, with the support of the strongest, smartest and most capable, rather than just following them. Our current interpretation of success is very much focused on financial, although this to me is not the way of the future, we will use it for this analysis.
Those people that are financially secure right now are not the followers. Large portions of followers are in debt, unable to pay their bills or are struggling to do so. The people that are ‘successful’ right now are the ones who are walking their own way: The Entrepreneurs. Those people who are listening to their inner knowing, balancing this with their intellect, and walking the path that they are guided to walk.
True, many entrepreneurs are in the same boat as the followers, but certainly to walk your own path you are much more likely to find success, even if it is interpreted as financial alone. Today there are more Entrepreneurs becoming ‘successful’ than ever before. But you will find they are not doing it alone.
Finding a balance of your inner knowing and your intellect and completely abandoning following others does not mean you have to do it all yourself, or do it all alone. Quite the contrary. By walking your own path, you actually invite others to do the same. And together you create the most value for all.
By walking your own path you are stepping onto your path of least resistance. No one outside of you knows what is best for you. Many will try to tell you what is right for you, or best for you to do or be, but they are only guessing. Only you know what is best for you, but even this knowing takes time to develop. Just like going to school, or doing trainee-ship with a mentor, you must take the time to develop the skills of listening to the inner knowing that guides and balancing it with the intellect of your mind.
Do not expect after reading this manifesto that you will suddenly know what is right for you. All I can encourage you to do it begin. Step on to the path that is your own. Fall down, get back up again. Stumble into darkness and make the sacrifices that you must. In all good endeavors sacrifices must be made. But these sacrifices are not negative, you will not lose anything, they are positive, you will only gain. Like whittling wood. One removes the unnecessary parts to discover the delicate art piece within. Who you really are is a work of art.
———————————————————
Being Myself
One’s true potential lies in the being of oneself. No other statement has been more powerful in my life than this. My true potential, my ultimate power and ability, is found only within my being myself.
Our culture is fixated with the notion of pretending. Of trying to be something we are not. I am sure this has developed over the years as we found we could act out the strengths we lacked as a way to bluff our competitors. Now however we have moved beyond the tipping point and are beginning to shift, to revolve back to being our authentic selves.
Actors and other celebrities are the most endeared bunch of people on the planet. They hold as much weight in many people’s eyes as do politicians and government officials. Great actors, those that are best at pretending, are seen as role models for the young and find a place in the conversations of many people on a daily basis. I agree that acting is an art form and is to be respected as much as painting, sculpting, dance and more. But today this art form has been taken out of the realm of art by a grand population and the artists placed on a pedestal as would gods or heavenly figures have been in the past.
To say this is wrong would be hypocritical to my whole way of being, so this I am not saying. What I am bringing to light is the culture we have created where we encourage falsity and the acting out of roles. By placing actors with such high importance we set ourselves up to be influenced dramatically by this. By regarding acting as an important part of society we allow ourselves to be directed by this in all avenues of our lives.
Most people, including myself at the time of this writing, go to work at a job. A job where I get paid to act out a certain role between the hours I am paid, and usually beyond for free. I am encouraged by the status quo to keep up the appearance of my role the best that I can, and in doing so I am rewarded. The better I act out my role, the better I am compensated. Whether I am a Fire Fighter, a Doctor, a School Teacher, a Dentist, a Sanitation Worker, a Builder, a Family Psychiatrist, an Accountant, a Writer, or like me, an Adventure Guide. All of these are roles. Roles that I play to get paid and survive in the culture I accept as my own.
None of this is new, people have been talking about letting of the roles we subscribe to, or the box we put ourselves in for decades and centuries. But right now, at this time, it is more beneficial to let go of the roles than to hold on to them. For the first time we as a people are genuinely better off moving away from the status quo than of pertaining to it.
The status quo teaches and directs us to follow. I am saying that following another is not the way of the future and that the guidance of your inner knowing in balance with your intellect is the way of living your true potential, which in all ways is complete success. To be fully present in this moment with no attachment to the happenings outside of oneself, blissful and happy for no reason other than life itself is your true potential. To be alive in bliss is success.

Passion and Purpose
You have within you a natural inclination towards some type of work. This inclination is guided by your passion and purpose. Your passion and purpose, this inclination, is completely unique to you. Only you, and no one else, desires to do what it is your passion and purpose drives you to do. There can be only one person doing what it is you want to do, you have no competition and you are no threat to anyone else. Only you are here to do what it is you do best.
By walking your path of least resistance, just as all aspects of nature do; including wind, water, light, sound, fire, trees and other animals; you are able to tap into your passion and purpose. The guidance within balanced with your intellect will most assuredly take you in the direction of living you passion and purpose. In living your natural flow, doing the work that you are inclined to do, you will find a sense of ease that only comes with walking the path of least resistance.
When you do what it is you are here to do, that is your natural inclination, your passion and purpose, you do it better than anyone else could possibly do. No matter what that is, you do it best. And by doing IT with a sense of Unity you empower others through your actions. By living your power your work naturally gives power to the whole, the community we all live within.
So, by following your intuition and intellect, and living your path of true potential (least resistance), and doing what you are naturally inclined to do (passion and purpose) with a sense of Unity, you empower and help others while yourself living bliss and happiness. It is really that simple.
———————————————————
Self-Centered-ness
Everything we as human beings do is completely self-centered. And I am talking about all of us! Even the greatest, most compassionate beings ever to walk on this earth. They too did every act completely for themselves.
This is not a bad thing. This is not wrong. Our society teaches us that being self-centered is a sin, something wrong that takes away from the whole. But I say to you being self-centered is natural and therefore just the way we are meant to be.
Now I can hear you saying ‘nonsense’. ‘I love my family, my friends, my community, my colleagues, my people, my whoever, and I do what I do for them’. And I couldn’t argue with you at all. But I will draw attention to this statement. Have a look at the one thing that comes before any of the above groups of people. Can you see it? Yes that’s right, it is you. More precisely in this wording: My. My family, my friends, my people. Mine, mine, mine. It is all about You!
Everything you perceive to be a greater cause than yourself is merely an extension of yourself. You work to provide for your family, an extension of yourself. You act for the greater good of your community, an extension of yourself. I am writing this right now for you, and extension of myself. I say it once again: Everything we as human beings do is completely self-centered. And this is a very natural thing.
Leaders become great not by what they do for the people, but what people they do great for. That is, the greatest leaders work towards a vision of the future that includes as many people as possible so that the extension of themselves that they naturally act in regards for encompasses the largest population possible. And the greatest leader encompasses all. This is true Unity.
——————————————————–
Greed is Natural
Greed has stemmed from this same natural aspect. Acting in regards for oneself, however with a limited view of who I am. Greed is nature acting without full awareness. Let us examine greed. One acts to amass great substance for oneself and the extension that they subscribe to be themselves. That may be their immediate family, their business associates, their shareholders, or even extend as far as their community or as we see today, their nation, their religious followers, their group of some sort that they call their own.
The acts themselves that lead to the accumulation of substance are not at all to blame. Actually, nothing can be blamed for greed, or greedy persons. What they are doing is as natural as a river flowing towards the ocean, or the trees growing towards the sun. They are acting for the benefit of themselves. The only thing that is lacking is awareness of their true selves.
When we are of the awareness that who we really are is all life, a unity, a oneness, the extension of ourselves extends to include all life turning these simple acts into acts that empower us all. Greed is created only through a lack of awareness. It is nothing to fear or scold, rather embraced as a naturally powerful force of life. For life’s mission, which is both yours and mine, is to increase and expand. The simplicity of turning on a light to see in the dark is exactly the same principle for turning greed into abundance. Awareness of self is the key that unlocks the power within us all.
———————————————————
OK, so we have established that intuition and intellect will lead us to live our passion and purpose, and that by living our unique aspects of self through self-centered actions in the awareness of our true inter-connectedness of unity and oneness we naturally empower others. And, that our true authentic selves are complete happiness and bliss.
———————————————————
So what is Unity?
We have tiptoed around this idea of Unity/Oneness for this entire Manifesto up to now. But what is true Unity? Well, to be quite honest with you, I am not in a space of living true unity at this time. Sorry to disappoint you. I am not here to have all the answers, just to make sure we keep asking the right questions. What I do understand though is our path of least resistance, the natural flow that will eventually lead us to the reality of our true collective potential, Unity.
From here I will endeavor to explain the path I am walking as I extend the invitation to you to walk with me on this collective journey. Finally, we will get into the real meaning of this Manifesto, the action steps I am taking to live my true reality of Unity and Oneness, of happiness and bliss.
———————————————————
We are Nature
Nature has been regarded for some time as something outside of ourselves. We humans have created a barrier between our physical body, as we perceive it through the five senses, and the outside world. Anything beyond the body is has regarded as alien to me. This however is not the case.
We are nature. There is no difference, no separation between nature and ourselves. We are as much a part of nature as is our fingers a part of our hands. By creating a difference we have been able to take from nature whatever we wanted without remorse. We are naturally self-preserving beings, not self-destructive. The destruction we see in the world today with nature, our environment, is due only to the fact we have created separation and feel we are destroying something that is beyond our own being, for again, we do everything only for ourselves.
The same goes for the destruction of our fellow man. By creating difference we are able to destroy other men as we feel they are outside of ourselves. Be it the difference between nations, religions, races, or even just the coast you live on! The destruction of nature and our fellow man is rooted only in a lack of awareness, not in evil (for there is no such thing!). Awareness is the key. Unity is the door. What’s on the other side, only together shall we find out.
———————————————————
Here comes the cold water
We do not need a Green Revolution. We do not need a Peace Revolution. We do not need a Revolution in Personal Development. What we need is an Awareness Revolution. But this is not something we need to ‘Revolt’ against, like environmental destruction or war. We need to ‘Revolve’, to turn back towards the true nature of who we really are. We just need to be one with nature again. One with our true selves.
———————————————————
The Awareness
I am more than suggesting that awareness is the key to all of our so-called ‘problems’. So how do we now create an Awareness Revolution?
As was discussed early in this Manifesto, we all have a passion and purpose that drives us to do and be something unique. Through the guidance of my intuition and intellect I am able to walk my path of least resistance and live the flow of my unique passion and purpose. By living my passion and purpose fully I am effectively increasing my awareness as I flow more smoothly with my true self.
However, like all good things, this takes practice. And can be aided with the help of some good mentors and lots of personal education with a commitment to your own growth. So this is where we will start.
If all we need is awareness (whether you agree right now or not, stick with me for a minute) then we have our goal in mind. Now we need to establish a path, a journey to get there.
———————————————————
The Revolution
Differences are what we have created, be it consciously or otherwise, in order to take what we ‘needed’ to survive. This survival tactic of creating differences in order to unite was perhaps a necessary component of our survival as a species up until now.
We have reached a point, as do all things, where we are beginning to shift back in the other direction. Nothing really goes in a straight line. All things in life revolve around a center point. They go in one direction for a time and begin coming back the other way. Look at the earth and planets of our solar system revolving around the sun. The moon around the earth, the tides in the ocean, the seasons, trees as they grow only to die and re-cycle back in to the soil, animals, including man, that are born and die in a cyclic fashion. All things will eventually change and turn back in the other direction.
So, in order to strive beyond our differences and begin to move naturally back into the awareness of our true selves we need to become aware of these differences so that we may respect them as unique parts of the whole we all make up.
I say that we are all one. I say we are all unique. I say none is a threat to us when we all live our true purpose and do and be what we are here for, our true selves, our passion and purpose. So the process I offer is two fold. This is the process I myself have lived to be in the awareness of who I am today.
———————————————————
To Live Awareness
One. To follow no man, instead live in the guidance of your intuition and intellect leading you to do and be your unique passion and purpose while living in the awareness of your true self as an inter-connected being of oneness and unity.
Two. Increase your awareness of self through education with mentors and internal self-reflection.
———————————————————
My passion and purpose is to bring people together to enjoy a common experience. Everything I outline in this Manifesto I am experiencing myself. Nothing is pure intellectual. This is not a thesis. This is life as I live it.
———————————————————
Differences
There are many differences that we today subscribe to on a regular basis. These differences are a great barrier to our unity as a universal whole. We are able to dissolve these differences with awareness. From here I will outline my journey of awareness, again with the invitation to walk with me. I will discuss the differences in the order I feel we may be able to dissolve them with awareness, leaving the last barriers to unity at the bottom of the list.
Over time the differences we have subscribed to have naturally shifted (tribes became towns, became provinces, became nations), just as the current differences are shifting now. Life knows the way and will stop at nothing to get to where it is naturally going. Remember, we are just part of nature. We do not need to fight to dissolve these differences or fight to get where we feel we need to go. By flowing with nature (see 1 above) we will become aware at the exact time this awareness is needed.
And please do take into account that not every person on this earth needs to reach this state of awareness for life itself to change. The 100th Monkey Syndrome teaches us that once a critical mass has reached a certain awareness that awareness is passed on to the rest of the community somewhat telepathically.
———————————————————
Environment
Our environment, the natural world around us that we are a part of, has a great impact on who we are as a people. This is easy to understand when looking at the way of life of those people living in the snow compared to those living in the tropics, however the effects of our environment extend beyond just the way we live. Because we are one with our environment (there is no separation remember?) our environment and us share the same thoughts and feelings. To fully understand a people we must also understand the environment they live in. For true wisdom lies not within the minds of the people alone but within the being of life itself.
Nature does in fact know where it is and where it wants to go. This is due to the balance of intuition and intellect that nature so elegantly subscribes to follow. By doing the same, and working with the natural flow of who we are as a being that is one with life, we find it quite simple to live the life we came here to live.
The word nature in my understanding extends beyond just the natural world and includes all aspects of creation, including those made by man. The cities of the world hold just as much influence as the ‘natural’ world.
Our goal must be to live in the awareness that we are one with nature, that we are connected and in unity with all of life. Living in this awareness is the only way to bring an end to destruction of our environment. We humans naturally work for self-preservation and the increase of life for oneself. Awareness of our oneness with nature is the only way we as humans will ever live in a naturally symbiotic way and bring an end to the destruction of our environment.
———————————————————
Nature has always had a profound connection with me, as I have with it. Having been raised in the only place on earth where two world heritage areas meet, the Wet Tropics rain forest of north eastern Australian and the Great Barrier Reef, I have been able to understand my place within the natural environment quite easily. That is not to say I haven’t worked at it.
For years since the age of 19 I have lived and worked within the natural world. Whilst traveling and living in Japan, Thailand, Hawaii, California and most of the east coast of Australia, I have always found myself residing in nature. Over the years I have worked as an Adventure Guide leading people into wilderness adventures Rafting, Kayaking, SCUBA Diving, Mountain Biking, Rock Climbing, Hiking, and Boating.
———————————————————
East and West
We face two major problems now as a global people. The threat of environmental destruction and the threat of Nuclear War.
Not only have we created a barrier between ourselves as humans and the natural world, we have created barriers of difference between members of our own species. We feed the fear of these differences through ignorance. Only awareness of our true selves, of our unity and oneness will ever bring us together and avoid the catastrophe of man killing ourselves from within.
We are being called to become aware of the barrier to Unity of the difference of East and West, of Asian people and Western people (Asian meaning the region and culture of Asia. Western meaning the culture originally from Europe and the UK that influences the ‘Western’ world. Take into account that ‘Western’ society also includes Asian people born or living in the ‘West’ and is definitely not limited to Caucasian people).
This difference has slowly been shifting, yet we are required now to make the giant conscious leap to full awareness. Only 60 years ago the strongest of the Asian cultures of the time, Japan, fought in the bloodiest war ever known to man, the Second World War. The difference of Asian and Western caused Millions of lives to be lost, including through the use of the deadliest weapons ever created, the atomic bomb, which was used twice. Now, 60 years down the path of time, the people of Nagasaki and Hiroshima are still being affected by the radiation left from these weapons. The same weapons that some fear may be used again.
China is now the super power of Asia, and almost, if not already, the super power of the World! No longer do the Western people of the Commonwealth, the US and Europe hold the power. We are finding ourselves in a situation now where the balance is becoming quite even. And this time, unlike 60 years ago, there will be no quick fix.
Awareness will dissolve our differences and allow the Asian and Western people to live and work together in harmony as nature intends. But it is up to us to do the work. Us being us all, Asian and Western alike.
Awareness comes through education with mentors and internal self-reflection. Western people must be taken into the life of the Asian people to understand their differences. Culture’s importance is that it is the collective external expression of who we are as a people. By learning about the Asian people and their culture Western people will naturally move into the awareness of the unity of Asian people and themselves.
This principle is the exactly the same in reverse, whereby Asian people becoming educated on true Western Culture, beyond economics, technology and fashion, will become more aware of their unity with Western people. A balance of East and West is essential. To meet half way is a nesseccity.
A couple of points to note. Remember we are all unique and we each have a specific passion and purpose to live and give. Through the use of the word unity I am not suggesting we all come together and live the same, as has been the misuse of the word unity in the past, as a way to bring people together for the benefit of a few. Asian people as a culture have a passion and purpose that when lived to it’s full extent in the awareness of our natural unity does indeed benefit us all. As do Western people as a culture.
Living in awareness (1 and 2 above) provides us the ability to flourish as a people, as a planet, and as life itself.
———————————————————
At the age of 10 I began studying the Japanese Martial Art of Karate. By age 15 I was State and Regional Champion 6 times and had competed in the Australian titles but was disqualified. I received my Black Belt just before the age of 16. After Karate I trained Western Boxing and Muay Thai Kickboxing until the age of 19 when I turned my life away from violence and began focusing on more peaceful uses of the human body.
From the age of 20 I began seated meditation. Something that was mentioned in my Karate training but I had never practiced. I began to study the Eastern philosophies including the Vedic traditions of India, Zen Bhuddism of Japan, Chi Gong and Thai Chi from China, the way of life from the Thai peninsula and more recently the I Ching, or Book of Changes, from China.
Through much study of Eastern Culture and internal self-reflection through meditation and contemplation I have increased my awareness of the unity of the East and West. Again, everything I have described in this Manifesto I have lived. Nothing intellectual, just my experience of life.
———————————————————
Indigenous and Contemporary
At the same time that our oneness with nature and of East and West is of primary importance so is the awareness of the difference of Indigenous and Contemporary.
Indigenous people to me are those people that adhere to, whether it be intellectually or through experience, the understanding of our human connection with the natural world and our inter-connectedness through the web of life.
The indigenous cultures of the planet hold some special wisdom and guidance that we as a global people need to move into the awareness of our true selves. In the same breath, the contemporary culture also contains necessary wisdom and guidance that we need.
Awareness of contemporary culture is quite high, as it is broadcast extensively through modern media technology. However, without balance everything topples and falls. We must focus on developing our awareness of indigenous ways also in order to restore the balance that is necessary to move our global culture into a harmonious future. This balance is as essential for our future as is the balance of East and West and our connection with nature.

Youth and Elders
For the very first time in our known history we have a distinct generation gap between youth and elders. This has physically come about through technology, mainly the internet and communicative ability. However, this division and therefore balance I feel has come about as we are naturally evolving towards a center point of oneness that is a complete balance of all forces of creation.
Life is finding it’s own center point, it’s own oneness and unity through creating division and allowing balance to ensue. We live in a world of duality, thereby the creative force acts in duality. By increasing the duality through distinct division, life is able to find balance, leading to a single center point of unity, smack bang in the middle of it all. All of the differences I have mentioned have all come about for this sole purpose: For life to find it’s unity within this world of duality.
Humans are the pinnacle of life on earth. Over Billions of years life on earth has evolved and we are it’s greatest “achievement”. Duality is the expression life creates through. Differences are life’s ability to expand and increase. Life creates through duality but it’s main purpose, the goal, the vision of all life, the very reason life exists, is to live it’s unity.
Life’s true self is unity. You may call it God, Allah, Nothingness, Spirit, the Universe or any other name to describe the indescribable. But this unity, this oneness is life’s true self. We are a part of life, the pinnacle of life remember, that gets to experience the ultimate in duality in order to experience the balance of all differences, and ultimately the reason for life itself, the middle point of all creation, Unity. Oneness. God (and all other words you may use).
This division and balance is most easily noticed by us through the life that we as humans are able to create: our own. The division of youth and elders is the most easy to discern as it is coming from within our own being.
Through the awareness of the difference of youth and elders we are more able to focus on the awareness of the differences of the other aspects I have mentioned here within. Through awareness itself, balance is created, as awareness is the key that unlocks the door of unity, as I have mentioned above.

Religion
Well, we are definitely at a point in this Manifesto where things are really beginning to take shape. There is however another couple of points of difference that I would like to discuss. And these are very powerful.
The first of which is Religion.
You may have noticed that I have spoke of East and West, indigenous and contemporary but not of Islam and the Christian cultures, of which one could say there are major differences at this time.
Well, I agree with you that there are differences amongst the Islamic world and the Christian cultures. But these differences are only skin deep. Fundamentally both of these religions are saying the same thing. I may get a hit over the head from some extremist, on either side of fence, but I will say it again: Fundamentally Islam and Christianity are saying the same thing.
Now, if you were a fundamentalist Muslim you may say that Allah is the only God and his children are the chosen ones (sounds like Judaism a bit too huh?). If you were Christian you may say that Jesus Christ is the son of God and only through Him can you be saved. But at the end of the day both these religions are involved in the same competition that sports teams play every day. A game that needs two sides competing against each other to decide an ultimate winner. But remember, like the sports teams playing the game, so too do the religions adhere to the same rules of the competition.
An analysis of these two major Western religions will show the core principles of the two are very similar. Judaism is also very similar and plays along as the third team in a round-robin style match. You may find analysis charts of these major religions online.
Having said all this, religion, like all of life, has it’s necessary place. Not only in pushing life towards it’s middle point, but in guiding us as humans to reach that point. The wisdom of Christianity, Islam and Judaism have all helped me along my path of self-awareness. So too have Buddhism, Hinduism, Rastafari, Paganism, and others.
I see all major religions as entities of consciousness evenly spread around the unity that is life’s true self, each revealing the awareness of their unique point of view.
There is nothing wrong with religion, as long as the principles and philosophies are used to enhance ones awareness of their true self by empowering them to live in the guidance of their own intuition and intellect, and not used to create sheep that follow blindly, as some religious entities have done so in the past and continue to do so today.
Following anything outside of oneself will never lead to one’s passion and purpose, happiness and bliss, or the awareness of true self.
With all the war and fighting over religion at this time one may feel that I am too easily brushing the difference of religion to one side. Well know now that I am not. I take very seriously the happenings in the Middle East, in Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Palestine and Israel. I live my life in the knowing that by increasing awareness of our true selves, through increasing our awareness of all the differences mentioned in this Manifesto, we will naturally reach peace across the entire world.
For it is only a lack of awareness of who we really are that causes us to act in destructive ways against what we perceive as something or someone outside of ourselves. Holding peace talks when our awareness is still such that we are talking to something or someone that is alien to us will never result in much of anything at all. Being aware that our ‘enemies’ are in fact us, one with ‘ourselves’, will naturally bring any and all warring parties together to live our natural state of happiness and bliss, or peace at the very least.

Male and Female, You and Me
The final difference that life itself will ultimately become aware of is the difference between two individual entities, of male and female, of you and me.
Now remember, awareness is not intellectual. We could examine under scientific methodology the intricate details of man and woman until eternity. (It seems this is exactly what some people are trying to do.) Awareness, true awareness of self, the being of life that we all make up, has nothing to do with the five senses, of the scientific method or intellectualism. Awareness has everything to do with who we really are, our unity as one.
There is very little I can say about this final difference, hence the reason I have left it until last. I myself am still working diligently within my own being to be aware of the balance of this difference. As awareness spreads throughout the earth and we near the critical mass necessary I am sure then I/we will live this awareness of the difference of two entities, the ultimate in duality.
Until then however I suggest we concentrate our individual and collective efforts on the awareness of self beginning with the most simple and progressing from there. So let us go back to the top of this Manifesto and recap here in the following conclusion.

Conclusion
First of all it must be said that all these differences are in fact one and the same. I am breaking them down into categories so that the lack of awareness we as a people are living with may be seen more clearly. For as we reach true awareness (of which I do not claim to be of, but I am certainly working towards) each of these differences shall be nothing more than one small notch on our path of growth. Even though I separate these differences and list them in somewhat of an order this has no gauge on our ability to live in full awareness.
